As a member of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, we are keepers and protectors of the watershed and are governed by the City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit.

The City’s Clean Water Program implements programs that prevent pollutants from entering our waterways. Our program includes:

• Illicit Discharge Inspection and Response

• Trash Load Reduction

• Heavy Metals and Legacy Pollutant Controls

• Street Sweeping

• Storm Drainage Cleaning and Maintenance
